Hyundai is one of the very old and finest company. Hyundai is trying really hard to make the eco friendly technology cheaper than it is now. They are having plans to launch hybrids and high efficiency,

low emission models that will be costing far lesser than what we have even thought of. They have taken their step by BlueOn and i10 EV’s.

Hyundai’s BlueOn EV

Brand: Hyundai

Description:Based on the 2011 Hyundai i10 small hatchback, Hyundai Co-operation Revealed its 1st Full Speed Electric Vehicle called “BlueOn” in Korea.
The Specifications are as follows:

  • It has electric motor that generates 80 hp and 155 NM of torque.
  • It is powered by 16.4 kWh lithium ion polymer battery pack.
  • With the Highest speed of 130 kms, BlueOn run to the 100km/hr in about 13.1 seconds.
  • If the vehicle is fully charge then it can travel 140kms and the battery takes around 6 hours to charge under level 1 that is traditional household electric outlet, whereas using Quick Charge it can be recharged about 80 % in 25 minutes.

Hyundai’s i10 EV

Description:Hyundai’s i10 EV is the modified version of already existing Hyundai i10 minicar.It will first appear in company’s hometown that is South Korea.

The Specifications are as follows:

  • It is powered by 16 kWh lithium-ion battery and motor of 49 kWh/65 hp.
  • Most interesting fact about i10 is the feature of handling 2 charging cycles: the one is standard 220V which is commonly found in many households around the world. Second is the more powerful industrial 415V current.
  • With 220V it requires 5 hours to fully charge the battery but with 415V it requires 15minutes to recharge the 15% of its capacity.
