Electric Cars!!!  What an electrifying invention .In Future we cannot even think of the automobiles which are not eco -friendly. Though recently most of the section of our society is using gasoline powered automobiles, but as all of us know that these resources will get exhausted at certain point of time and this is the time when

Electric Cars will come to our rescue. The time has came that while making purchase of any commodity from smallest to biggest the consumer is buying it with the eco sense in mind .Therefore the car manufacturers have also thought  something out of box and came up with an idea of electric cars.

There are many myths in the mind of consumer while buying an electric car, so let’s clarify all the points

1. Their is rumor that electric cars are slow, but that is not the case  they have torque that is available at all RPMS without the drag of the combustion engine ,which make them relatively faster. The Tesla Roadster had been tested to go from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds.
2. Electric automobiles are very complicated and they require lots of maintenance , it is quit opposite of that .The internal combustion engine  consist hundreds of moving parts which requires lots of maintenance where  as electric vehicles consist of 10 or may be fewer parts that require very less maintenance .The first check is at 40,000 miles.
3. Charging of electric vehicle will significantly increase the utility bill. It would increase utility bill about $27 per month but it will save approximately $100 in fuel.
4. There is always an anxiety that what if the battery discharged and the charging station is not nearby. But the manufacturers claim that a prominent “Real Time “ gauge that will tell you how far you can go before you run out of power  this would pretty much avoid the above situation.
5. As the electric vehicle will increase it will put immense pressure on electrical grid .But the charging of electric vehicle will have little or even no impact on the electrical grid as the manufacturers have the foresight to think about greener usage and they are already making provisions, so that charging stations can be located conveniently throughout the country and the world.
